Vodafone Prepaid Internet Review (June 2015)

The team at Vodafone Prepaid Internet have been rather busy promoting their Prepaid Internet starter kits. If they aren’t selling them with some offer on their website then they are running a promotion via either the Woolworths or Coles stores. This offers a great way to get started with your online experience. At the moment their website is selling the USB starter kit for $49 with 3GB of data. Following this you have what is the best range of recharge options in the market place. From 1GB at $20 up to 22GB for $200. Vodafone gives you plenty of options regarding how much you wish to recharge. At $20 for 1GB Vodafone is better value than say Virgin which is 750MB for $19 and Optus which doesn’t have a $20 recharge option only $30 for 3GB. Vodafone also offers recharging up to 22GB which is higher than Virgin which offers up to 18GB ($199) and Optus up to 15GB ($130).

The Vodafone Prepaid Internet network is improving and my own experiences in and around Melbourne and even Sydney have been great. But it is best to ensure that you have adequate coverage wherever you live and with any network you decide to go with. Vodafone also offer month to month plans. No contract leave when you want. 2.5GB for $20 (better value than prepaid), 4GB at $30 rising up to $45 for 8GB, $65 for 12GB and 25GB for $90 and $50GB for $140. These do offer better value then prepaid and if you do have your own USB modem then you should consider them particularly given you can leave whenever you like.
