Telstra prepaid mobile recently undertook a review of their prepaid mobile offers, removing the Talk & TXT and TXT and Data plans and launching the Beyond Talk plans with call minutes to anyone, discount and unlimited TXT to anyone and up to 1GB of data.

Recharge on the Web
Use your mobile, tablet or PC to register for online access on the Telstra.com/prepaid website and login to recharge you prepaid mobile plan.
Recharging via your Mobile
To recharge via your mobile phone, simply click the BigPond Icon and then select the ‘My’ tab, dial #100# or simply call 125 88 88. Using this service provides you with access to your usage rates covering calls, TXT and even data.
Telstra Prepaid Apps
Telstra offers a prepaid mobile recharge app from the Google Android Play market.
Telstra Recharge via Facebook
Download the Telstra Facebook app by searching “My Telstra Pre-Paid’ via your Facebook page. Once you find the page, it will request that you use a Https ‘secure connection. You will be requested to enter your Telstra prepaid mobile number then a verification PIN will be sent to you. Via this app you can recharge your phone, review your credit balance and even send credit to family and friends.
In terms of what types of currency can be used to recharge, Telstra offers:
- Credit Card or Debit Card
- Recharge voucher purchased from a retail store
- PayPal
- BPAY
- Telstra Credit Me2U (transfer credit from another postpaid or prepaid service)
