Vodafone Australia is making some important changes to the expiry period for the credit it offers with its Flexi Cap prepaid mobile plans. Each of the plans offers a range of credit, including Flexi Credit, credit for standard calls and data. The expiry for all of this period to date has been 30 days. The 30 days has actually been around since the plans where launched several years ago. From the 23 August 2012, the expiry will change to 28 days. Yes 2 days less, which might not sound like much but with 12 months of the year, 2 days adds up to 24 days, nearly a whole month of credit, lost with nothing in return.
Here is the official statement:
“We are making changes to our $29, $49, $79, $149 Prepaid Flexi Caps recharges on 23rd August 2012. All recharges on these Prepaid Caps activated on or after 23rd August 2012 will have a 28 day expiry period for all inclusions.”
