Getting Started with Virgin Prepaid Mobile Broadband

The last of our prepaid mobile broadband activation pages are on Virgin’s prepaid mobile broadband service. The thing with Virgin is that they have only ever offered mobile broadband, both via a plan and prepaid. Below are the simple steps to activating your service..

To get started you will require a Virgin Broadband starter kit and a supported USB Modem. Connect the modem to your laptop or PC and make sure that you have the sim card ready (it will be in the starter kit).

First step is to visit the Activate Your Account page.

What you need with you is:

  • Your Virgin Mobile or Virgin Broadband Starter Pack.
  • Your Virgin Mobile Number or Virgin Broadband Service Number
  • The last 5 digits of the ICCID barcode on the back of your Starter Pack
  • Your personal details

Ensure that you have everything you need, then select where you bought your Starter Kit from.

Select ‘Pre-Paid Mobile Broadband’ and tell us if you’re already a Member or not. If you are already a Member you will be prompted to enter your existing service number and your 6-digit PIN.

If you are not a Member you will be prompted to enter some contact details.

Next you will need to enter your contact details, decide if we can contact you, read about your privacy, then click ‘Finish’.

Enter the details from the back of your Starter Pack here. This includes your mobile number and the last 5 digits from the ICCID bar code.

You have now activated your Pre-Paid Mobile Broadband.
