| E.Tel is a relatively unknown prepaid mobile provider mainly sold through retail outlets around Sydney. However, when you look at the rates and expiry options available you will see that there is some really good value available from these plans. Expiry ranges from 90, 365 and even no expiry. In many cases call rates are still in 30 sec blocks with one plan offering per second billing which is relatively unheard of these days. The No Expiry plan has a 2 minute call cost of 54c, giving you 92 calls from your $50 recharge. The same plan with a 90 day expiry has a cheaper call rate and no flagfall giving you 166 calls for your $50, however only a 90 day expiry is available. Overall these are great options from a relatively unknown prepaid mobile player. Do note the no activity warning listed below. It is important that even though a no expiry on credit applies, you do need to use the service otherwise you risk losing the credit.Finally I wanted to touch on the Flexi Data plan. At 1c/MB, this is the lowest p/MB PAYG data rate going at the moment. More great value here. |
