| ThinkMobile have been a key player in the sim only mobile phone market for several years now. We have had their product range listed for a couple of years at least. Their product range caters for all types of customers, whether you are a senior looking for a cheap plan that is there for emergencies or for a parent looking for a plan for their child. Think Mobile has it seems, something for everyone. One service they introduced about a year ago is the ability to set a limit on how much you can spend on your phone in any given month or monthly cycle. It is a similar level of control to that offered by prepaid mobile plans, except that ThinkMobile plans are all month to month arrangements, no contract. ThinkMobile uses both the Telstra GSM as well as the Vodafone network. Their Classic 3G plans use Telstra and their Ultimate and Simple Plans use Vodafone. At the $12 per month level, the Simple 12 Swift Plan offers you $18 in call credits each month with call rates at 12c per 30 sec with a 20c flagfall. In addition to the $18 credit, users also get unlimited calls to other Swift and Ultimate customers.In 2011, ThinkMobile launched their unlimited mobile plan in Ultimate. For $39.95/mth you receive unlimited calls and TXT in Australia. This includes 1300/1800 numbers and MMS. With it comes 4GB of data. This plan is equal to other unlimited sim only plans. The Ultimate plan is on the Vodafone network.The Classic 3G plans are only a few months old and are also on the Telstra Network. Each of these plans is BYO, so you can bring your own mobile phone and save $10/mth. Classic $25 at just $15/mth gives you 42 calls each month and 150MB data, great for light use. The Classic $35 at $25/mth gives you 75 calls and 500MB and the Classic $45 at $35/mth gives you 126 calls each month and 750MB.If you are looking for Telstra coverage without directly being with Telstra, Think Mobile Classic 3G offers a great alternative. |
