| Just over 12 months ago, Savvytel launched their monthly Savvy Extreme plan. Savvy Extreme offers unlimited calls and TXT to local fixed line and mobile number plus 4GB of data. What the unlimited offer doesn’t cover is international calls and TXT/MMS as isn’t premium SMS (pretty standard). Savvy Extreme will cost you just $38 per month, which is actually a very good offer when you compare it the other “Unlimited” plans out there. This is a month to month offer, where additional charges can be paid if applicable. I like the plan, it is competitive in its space and I am sure it will do well. Savvytel FYI also use the Optus network, the same way Amaysim does. The PostPaid Caps are also no contract plans and offer a range of credit amounts plus an allowance for calls to other Savvytel customers plus an allowance for data. The benefit of these plans compared to the Extreme plan is that your monthly credit allowance can be used for international calls and TXT. Savvytel do however have a cap on how much of your credit can be used for international calls (about 60%).If you are however only making local mobile and fixed line calls and want data for your smart phone then the Extreme is the way to go at $38/mth. |
