| This new service was only launched a month ago and Woolworths is already boasting about its success. And why shouldn’t they. Is there anything special about this service? No not really but its cheap and there is a Safeway or Woolworths store in almost every neighborhood these days. 15c call rate and 15c flag fall is very competitive but it isn’t the cheapest in the market. The 100 days expiry is good and competitive. What Woolworths has is brand recognition and trust. They also charge you $2 for the sim which no else does. Run via the Optus 2G Network, you know your coverage will be OK. They are now looking at 3G Data deals. We will keep an eye out on this service in terms of customer feedback. |
