Whenever I want to phone my relatives overseas, I normally find it convenient to pop into a shop and purchase whatever phone card they offer for calls to Greece. I would actually like to call them via Skype, but none of them have broadband over there.
This time round, I thought I would try one of the online providers that I promote via this website. You see, I had already worked out that the phone card that I promote via this website for Greece calls was actually quite a bit cheaper than the one I used to buy from the store- 3c per min with no connection fee.
So last night, instead of popping into the store, I decided to visit my website and buy a Greece phone card online. Took me less than 5 mins and the purchase was complete. The only disappointment I had was that it (website) told me that the card would arrive in 24hrs. I wanted to call my uncle that night.
Within 5 mins of completing my purchase online, I received a phone call from a man with an Indian accent. At first I thought it was one of those sales calls, but it was from the guy at the phone card business telling me that my phone card would be emailed to me rather than mailed to me and that I could start using it straight away.
How is that for service! They called me to tell me that they would me emailing me my details. After the call I visited my email box and the details were there.
I then made my phone call, charged at 3c per minute. Great savings! Great service!
